Perimenopause and menopause care with individualized solutions for you

For the years and symptoms no one warned you about.

If something has felt off and no one has taken it seriously, you are in the right place.

What it actually feels like.

  • Sleep that used to be easy is not. You wake at 3am and cannot get back down.

  • A cycle that used to be predictable is shorter, heavier, lighter, or skipping.

  • Anxiety shows up on a Tuesday morning for no reason.

  • Your cardio feels harder than it did six months ago.

  • You are gaining weight around your middle and nothing you used to do is moving it.

  • Your skin, your hair, your joints, your libido, your patience, all quietly different.

  • Many women describe it the same way: something is off, and you cannot put your finger on what.

Perimenopause and Menopause, in Real Terms

Perimenopause is the years leading up to your last period. It can start in your 30s or 40s and last anywhere from a few years to a decade. Menopause is the day you hit twelve months without a period. Postmenopause is everything after that.

Menopause Care Built Around You

Guided by training and experience

You may have been handed a lot of maybes. Told your labs look fine, offered an antidepressant, or left to figure out on your own whether this is hormones, stress, or just your life now. You know your body has changed. You want someone who takes that seriously and actually knows this stage of it.

That is the care Dr. Brittany Schamerhorn built Ivy to provide. She is our founder, holds the Menopause Society Certified Practitioner credential, completed the Canadian Menopause Society's masterclass, and lectures on menopause and hormone care across North America. She leads our perimenopause and menopause care, and sets the standard our whole team practices.

Here, you are taken seriously and treated as a whole person, not rushed and not sold solutions you do not need. We only recommend testing and treatment we truly think could benefit, so you are never paying for more than that. You leave understanding what is happening in your body, clear on your options, and no longer carrying it alone

How Ivy Approaches Hormone Therapy

Hormone therapy is one option, and is the gold standard for managing symptoms (meaning everyone deserves a conversation about it). But it is not the only option; we want to know all the options available to you and what benefit you can expect from each. You decide what is best for you.

We start by listening. What is going on, what you have already tried, and what you want to change. From there we build a plan. That plan may include hormone therapy. It may include cycle support, blood work, sleep, stress, or nutrition work. Often it is a combination.

You will not be pushed toward one option, and you will not be sold a protocol. You will get a plan that fits you.

What it is not: a one-size protocol, a rushed conversation, a package you didn't ask for, or a promise that hormones alone will fix everything.
